This Mandala Ornament has been Hand Glittered and Painted using the technique formally called Pointillism or Dotted Art.
I coated the inside of this Disc Ornament with a Chunky Blue Glitter with a purple pink shift then painted the ornament with White, Blue, Fuschia, Green and Purple paint
Mandalas are not only beautiful to look at but, Creating mandalas is considered both therapeutic and symbolic, Mandalas have been used as art therapy.
The circle in the Middle is believed to ground oneself, while the shapes, design, colors and symbols are said to reflect the inner realms of the person who is creating it.
This Ornament is Shatter Proof so it can be enjoyed for years to come, a wire hanger and organza gift bag is included with your purchase.
Each of my ornaments receives two coats of Glossy Varnish to seal and protect the painting and is "signed" with a small dotted flower on the back
